What do I need to know?

The Boutique Membership Program is designed for artisans and curators who are growing their businesses but aren’t ready for the overhead of a full brick-and-mortar location.

At Alley Kat’s, Boutique Members create their own mini storefront within the Shoppe, giving you the freedom to design, stock, and style your space while benefiting from shared foot traffic, marketing, and a supportive small business community.

How do I know if Boutique Membership is right for me?

Boutique Membership is a great fit for small business owners who:

  • Love to thrift and curate collections to resell

  • Repurpose or refurbish furniture and home decor pieces

  • Create their own products and have a large, diverse inventory

  • Enjoy designing and styling their own retail space

  • Are willing and able to commit to weekly booth refreshes, cleaning, and updates

Boutique Membership may not be the right fit if you…

  • Prefer a hands-off approach to merchandising (Drop-off Membership may be a better fit)

  • Are unable to commit to regular upkeep and restocking

How big is a Boutique space?

Boutique spaces vary based on location within the Shoppe, but most average around 6 feet wide and 18–30 inches deep.

Each space is assigned based on availability and business needs. Members are responsible for setting up and maintaining their own displays within their designated area.

What is the Membership fee?

Boutique Membership starts at $125 per month, plus 15% commission on sales. Fees vary depending on the size and location of your space. A non-refundable, one-time sign up fee equal to 50% of your monthly membership fee is required when you are accepted into the membership program.

What else do I need to know?

  • Boutique Members are responsible for stocking, styling, and maintaining their space weekly.

  • All merchandise must be properly tagged and meet Shoppe quality standards.

  • Members are expected to meet a minimum monthly sales goal, starting at $400, depending on booth size.

  • Memberships run month-to-month and are renewed at the Shoppe’s discretion.
